Todd has been helping me a bunch in my yard. I planted a bunch of Nikko Blue hydrangeas in front of my porch. I've still got 5 (may have gone a little overboard!) white hydrangeas to plant in the backyard.
I want a yard that is full of flowers all year long. I have a hard time keeping a houseplant alive so this should be interesting. I want a camellia somewhere. I've got hyacinth and daffodil bulbs in the ground. I really have no idea what I'm doing!
I've been pinning potting sheds on Pinterest. I'd love to have a bench on the back porch where I can keep all of my pots and garden tools. And I'd really love to have one of those fancy potting sheds with a chandelier. I'm sure my flowers would grow better!
I don't know how many more cold days we will get. We had 2 or 3 days this past week that got pretty cold but that might be it for the year. It's been so warm everywhere this year. If you normally get snow, have you gotten any this year?

Aren't these refreshing! Love!
ReplyDeleteVery, very minimal snow and it's killing me!!!!! I want to wear my snow boots and shovel the driveway!
ReplyDeleteI love love LOVE hydrangea! You are killing me because I am dying to plant some but here in South Carolina now that we have a house but I'm not so sure that we won't get another cold snap still.
ReplyDeleteThat's so crazy that you're able to plant flowers right now! Then again, I'm from Michigan, and we're normally buried under snow right now. We really haven't had any. We've had a few very light snowfalls, but they've all melted within a few days. It's so weird!
ReplyDeleteI've really enjoyed learning to garden over the last few years and have learned so much just by trial and error. I knew NOTHING when we bought our house 8 years ago and while it's by no means perfect, it's come a long way.
ReplyDeleteSpring is just around the corner! I saw my tulip bulbs just beginning to peek out from the dirt this past weekend and some tiny buds on my forsythia too! Yipee!
I LOVE hydrangeas! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeletethose hydrangeas are GORGEOUS!!! I bought some over the weekend at Trader Joes too!
ReplyDeleteI love hydrangeas & so wish I could grow them where I live but the climate isn't right. Good luck with your garden.
ReplyDeleteWe had a bit of snow once and that was it which is HIGHLY unusual. I am not complaining though!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to think about spring flowers, even though it's snowing outside. I'm glad that I've packed up my Christmas decor, since it seems like such a long time ago!
ReplyDeleteI love all the colors :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours, love the yellow, so vibrant. From engagement rings
ReplyDeleteHydrangeas are lovely, and as a nature photographer, I spend a lot of time capturing closeups in my garden. My favorite is one my daughter gave me five years ago on Mother's Day. It changes colors with each season! Like you, I think they look great in vases.
ReplyDeleteI am SO eager for Spring. This post was a day-brightener! I'd never visited your blog before. So glad I saw a ref. to it on Facebook!
Of course the plants would grow better!! They need to look a pretty chandelier!
ReplyDeleteCute blog!! Definitely following.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth
All those flowers are so beautiful! Just a little bit of color can cheer up a room so much <3
ReplyDeleteI have named your blog to The Southern Fried Bride's "I Do Declare" blog roll!
ReplyDeleteHyacinths smell amazing, good choice! All my bulbs have started popping up already and the crocuses are blooming. Such a strange/warm winter here in NC.
