Best of 2011

I'm not too sad to see 2011go but I am excited for what 2012 has to offer.  I love that about a new year.  A fresh start.  A chance to get everything off on the right foot.  There will be no New Years Resolutions.  I will probably "mark all read" in my Google Reader the first week of January because really...who wants to read 500 posts of New Year's Resolutions.  On New Years Day, I'll be sleeping in and enjoying a standard southern lunch of black eyed peas and collards!

Here are some of my favorite memories from 2011...

1. A memorable morning morning sunrise on Driftwood Beach, Jekyll Island, Georgia.

2. A memorable girl's trip to New Orleans to see our beautiful friend get married and eat 435 beignets. And Pretty in Pink Megan's car being stolen out of valet.

3. Spring flowers at Callaway Gardens

4. Our road trip to Nashville. Big Bob Gibson's white bbq sauce and a stop at the Jack Daniel's distillery.

5. Saw cars a la The Great Gatsby at the Concours d'Elegance on Amelia Island.

6. A beach weekend with friends at Seaside.

7. Meeting the very inspirational floral and entertaining genius James Farmer.

8. Rivalry game- Florida at Auburn.

9. My favorite recipe of the year: crock pot BBQ pulled pork sandwiches.

10. Moving into my new house.
