  1. I love Cheerwine! I'm from NC originally and live in DC now so whenever I go home, I stock up. I have about 4 cases and several bottles sitting in my apartment for "emergencies."

  2. Love Cheerwine! It reminds me of when I took horseback riding lessons when I was younger. They always had them in the vending machine and I would get one after every lesson.

  6. I LOVE Cheerwine! Growing up they had it in the fountain at Fudruckers. Now I TRY to drink the Diet version, but it's not as great as the Real Thing. YUM!! Thanks for sharing.

  7. Cheerwine is THE best.

They have it and Diet Cheerwine "on tap" at my favorite barbeque place in Lexington, NC.

We included glass bottles of it in our welcome gifts at our wedding. All of the people from above the Mason-Dixon line were a little confused then tasted the goodness and were immediate converts.

Your post has me wanting to order a case!

  9. Love Cheerwine!

I've talked about it so much to my family back in South Florida that I think I have them all excited to try it too. Getting some of the glass bottle Cheerwine would be a cute little Christmas gift I think. Good holiday cheer :)

  10. What is Cheerwine, I've never heard of it. Is it a soft drink or an adult beverage?

  12. My husband is from NC and introduced me to it when he took me home. I love it but we can't get it out here in Kentucky. So we stock up when ever we make a trip back home :)

My roommate in college and one of my very best friend's family owns Cheerwine. Her dad would always bring up huge flats of them in glass bottles. So good!

  16. I LOVE Cheerwine. You can't get it here in Indy so when friends and family come to visit from TN and SC, they know the cover charge at our front door is a four case minimum!

  18. I love Cheerwine although I'm a Diet Sundrop addict. I'm from the town where both of these are made so we seem to take it for granted here.

  21. OMG - Cheerwine! We're Texans but visit NC often, I think just so my hubby can get his fix of Cheerwine. My sister makes a killer Cheerwine bar-b-que sauce.

  22. Ugh. I am loving these pictures. And I remember Cheerwine from when I briefly lived in N.C. I kept wondering what in the world it was as I hadn't seen it in D.C. where I'm from...
But your pics are so clear and retina worthy.
