Seaside

We spent the weekend on the gulf beaches.  It was hot, hot, hot!

Luckily, we had a tent which made it bearable until about 3pm when we had to call it quits!

The view was more enjoyable from the 11th floor, in the AC!  I'm such a wimp!

Got lots of Seaside goodies to bring home.  Including a cookbook I've wanted- because the cover is pretty...duh!

I didn't take nearly enough pictures.  We went with two other couples and sadly, we only have one picture of our whole group and I don't have a copy of it.  I think it's the heat...I don't want to move much less pull out my big camera to take pictures.  It just turns me into Oscar The Grouch.  The End Of Summer Beach Trip means it's time for Heat and Humidity to pack their bags and get the heck outta dodge!  They have overstayed their welcome and I'm ready for their more enjoyable friends, Fall and Leaves, to arrive!

  9. Fall leaves and football! I'm with you. Love Seaside. My grandparents have a place in Destin and we always take side trips to Seaside. Perspicacity is one of my favorite little shops that has been there since the 80s.

  11. Hope you had fun! I just love Seaside although I detest that everyone else has now discovered it. I love visiting Cocoons little gourmet stand in Seagrove and the Modica Market. So envious that you were there. Thanks for sharing and love the pics.

  14. Even though you hate the heat, you look GREAT~ love the hair :)

The gulf coast looks so pretty, I have never been and am begging my hubs to go sometime. We live in NC so we always seem to go back to the old faves, Holden Beach.

Cute necklace too btw! Here's to hoping the temps will cool down soon enough :)
