Teriyaki Chicken Wings

I've been meaning to start posting recipes that would be good for game days- I missed the first two weeks, so what. :)

These chicken wings are DELICIOUS and couldn't be more easy. They're called "teriyaki" but don't have that thick glaze on them, they aren't chinese at all, and they're called "chicken wings" but I use drumsticks. Hey, I do what I want to around here.

Teriyaki Chicken Wings
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
6-8 drumsticks (I prefer skinless)
Mix the brown sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce in a baking dish. Lay the chicken into the sauce and bake uncovered at 375 for one hour, turning chicken pieces every 15 minutes or so. Cover and bake 1/2 hour more.

I have made this recipe with little drumsticks/chicken wings/normal drumsticks (skinless is better if you can find it!) and it turned out great. You might want to make two pans of sauce if you're going to make a bunch of chicken. Towards the end of the baking, the chicken will be so tender it'll want to fall off the bone when you're turning it, so be careful! And for some reason, I always serve them with a fried potato or hash brown casserole.
